A kind warrior most of the time.
A samurai when he must be.
He was like a flower. A spirit in the wild.
"The lone guardian of the Grizzlies" but fearless when he must be.
still...he was like a flower.
Thirteen summers with only a camera for a companion.
A simple world, he felt in the wilderness.
A much more complicated world with humans.
He thanked God for giving him a life after a near overdose.
He had no life as an alcoholic and felt it was an absolute miracle to get clean.
He felt the bears gave him a life. "The only life he wanted to know."
"He would die for these animals!" Running wild; running free.
He did not want to die but felt the death could give his work a value not achievable in life.
"Don't mourn for me. It's good work and God would be pleased if knew how much
I lived these animals." The miracle is the animals and he wanted to become like a bear.
Let's not forget, "Timmy the Fox, The champion and boss. Ghost, Spirit, Rowdy,
Downy and Sergeant Brown. Mr. Chocolate, Tabitha, Melissa, the Grench and yes even Ooley.
